Above: The 1998 and 1999 field seasons at Odessa-Yates
were devoted to covering a large area in the central
portion of the site with both resistance and magnetic
field gradient survey. The combined resistance results
from these surveys are presented here.
The 1999 field school completely excavated a house
feature (shown right) that had been identified in
the 1998 survey, and participated in ground truthing
of a large number of geophysical anomalies with
limited excavation and coring. Archaeo-Physics personnel
gave students lectures and hands on experience with
geophysical techniques.
